Welcome to the official website of the KU Jiu-Jitsu Club!
Our mission is to teach the sport and martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the students, faculty, and staff of KU in a manner which minimizes the barriers to entry. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling martial art that specializes in chokes, joint locks, takedowns, throws, and controlling your opponent without throwing strikes.
All you need to do is show up to one of our practice times! We are always looking for more students. It is never "too late" in the semester to join us!
We meet at the Martial Arts room (rm. 123) at the Ambler Rec Center on Tuesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Thursdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm, and Fridays from 5:00pm-7:00pm
